Roxy was kept outside 24/7 on the end of a tether to suffer the brutal elements of blisteringly hot summers and ice cold winters. For five years, this was the life this dog knew. Thankfully, PETA fieldworkers visited often to improve her life as much as they possibly could.
Then one day, Roxy was found wandering around loose and all alone. The dog’s leg was badly injured, and the family said they didn’t want her back. Well, her life was about to change for the better in a big way; After receiving veterinary care, love walked through the door looking for her. 😉
