She turned around to say goodbye but couldn’t leave them behind — so she adopted them

Meet Angus and Braveheart, rescue donkey and rescue horse. They were adopted together from Oasis Animal Sanctuary in Franklinville, New Jersey. Watch as they play together just like puppies! 😊

Oh my heart! These faces… this is the exact look they gave me the day we decided to adopt them. I wonder if they practiced… I will never forget walking to the car after our visit, turning around to wave good-bye, & seeing them at the fence line looking just like this. I cried, and later submitted the adoption application. That was almost 3 years ago.
